What’s better than getting married on Valentine’s Day? Waking up for your first day of married life on Valentine’s Day. That’s exactly what Lizzy and Michael did with their winter wedding at the extraordinary Gate Street Barn. I joined the girls in the Bride’s Room and much to Lizzy and Michael’s (and mine) surprise, Darren hung out with the boys. It was his first week back from his epic trip across south east Asia. So the boys were truly back in town! Perhaps my overwhelming memory (besides seeing Lizzy’s Dad in fake metal band hair playing Guitar Hero) will be their vows. Deeply touching, emotionally delivered and so personal. What a lesson to us all. All the best to you both!
