Wedding Ideas – Rustic Wedding Breakfast
Working as a wedding photographer in Hampshire I get the unique luxury of working at some of the finest wedding barns in all of the Queen’s land. Of course despite working in gorgeous rustic barns I don’t often get to see some real, almost ‘gritty’ style of rustic wedding favour. By that I don’t mean the oak beams….I see those quite a bit. I don’t mean wooden floors…I see those too. Brick or stone…yep…all the time.
But what I don’t get, and really, what I’ve craved, is a true and raw implementation of the rustic vibe. This goes further than hessian covered jars and wild flowers on tables. I’m talking about strip wood tables, in places blemished by the impact of time. The simple construction of a trestle table combined with the authenticity of aging wood and then accented by simple chairs made in a sympathetic style.
Of course, with this, you can then add the hessian covered jars, wildflowers, fairy lights and everything else. Because with this kind of base, you are on to a winner
