Claire and Pete’s Fitzleroi Barn Wedding
A day of travel. At what feels like the crack of dawn for a wedding photographer (otherwise known as 10am) I arrived at Claire’s Aunties flat in the wonderful setting of Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth. That’s not just on the edge of Portsea Island but pretty much at the end. Next stop is the ferry terminal. It was there that myself and 2 amazing Rolls Royce’s attempted to park in a narrow underground car park. Job done. Soon it was time to speed off for a noon ceremony in Bedhampton. So far this is pretty well local. Then Claire and Pete throw a bomb. Next stop Fittleworth and Fitzleroi Barn. Cruising the coast road through Chichester always makes me nervous but cruise we did. A lovely courtyard setting with a delightful barn (I do a lot of barns you know). There set the scene for anything from horse stable couple photos (awesome) to connect four and the ring toss game. I reckon I could have taken them all on. Speeches before the meal were perfectly positioned outside in front of a rustic barn door. Sweetness I tell you. I wish you both all the very best for the road ahead.
