Best of Wedding Photography 2013 – Formals
One of the main things I’m asked by my clients is “how long do you take to shoot the family groups?”. Its one of those goodness only knows answers because largely this is down to them. I provide all my clients with a starter for 10 family groups list. I tell them that if left to the list I can complete it within 15 minutes. 12 minutes actually (and yes, I’ve timed it). Of course clients can add, delete or transform the list however they see fit. That’s what you’re paying for surely. I have to admit that I don’t usually spend an eternity setting up these pictures. I have a bias to boy-girl ordering and balance. But generally I let nature take its course (with some notable exceptions in the past). However there are two photos that I particularly enjoy. The one of the boys and the one of the girls. I have a small but patent pending method for getting something that makes a formal anything ‘butt’. This is the beauty of it. I never know what I’m going to get. Some weeks are better than others. Here are a few in my fifth chapter of the Best of Wedding Photography 2013. Strange its the shortest post as well 🙂
