Meet Anne-Claire and Stuart. A wonderfully kind couple who we had the pleasure to photograph at their recent wedding at St Dunstan’s Church in Woking followed by a reception at the glorious Gate Street Barn. I met up with Annie at her parent’s house and was instantly greeted by a Bride in double height windows. Those who know me will know how I was instantly hooked. This was going to be a good’un. The soft light from an overcast day added to my delight. Once away from the Church (and after battling through Guildford town centre’s Saturday traffic fun) it was time to get up close and personal at Gate Street. As a recommened photographer at Gate Street Barn I get the luxury of working there many times a year. To see the farmhouse entrance in its colourful glory is breathtaking. I got to enjoy a few minutes with A-C&S as the guests slowly arrived for photos of the two of them before they were ushered into the reception with confetti. Ever present and lurking in the background was something I was so keen to see. Owls, a Buzzard and a Hawk were part of the day’s entertainment. Add some archery (the two activities weren’t connected) and it was an action packed afternoon and early evening. Fantastic times with fantastic people!
