Lindsay and Richard’s Autumn Wedding at Gate Street

INXS once said “every single one of us, the devil inside”. Not sure Mssrs Hutchins and Co were referring to secretly arranging for the Bride to be taken by horse and carriage the last mile to the venue or not but Richard did his level best to release the devil inside and did exactly that. I was fortunate to overhear the plans with Linsday’s Dad. Why folks never tell me these things I don’t know. Part of what makes this the most amazing job ever. Quick responses, quick thinking and a great end result. With the leaves turning and the colour lighting up the country road leading to Gate Street Barn it was a case of wait and see the spectacle. A spectacle it was as well. The sight of the horses click-click-cluck down the lane towards me. Goosebumps I tell you. With the rest of the day being equally as spectacular it was one of those easy made in heaven weddings that I love to shoot so well. Thanks to Linsday and Richard for having us along.
