Sally and Anthony at the RAC Club, Epsom
Its time to get in the Delorean and head back in time. Where we’re going we DO need roads. Thankfully so considering the venue where Sally and Anthony eventually arrived after the ceremony. Yes, the RAC Club itself.
We are, in fact, back in September of 2012. The sun shined…a bit…and the rain did fall. But both really had little to do with the wonderful day Sally and Anthony had planned. I started at Sally’s parents house with a wide array of wonderful bridesmaids. Seriously, its a good life when you think about it. Naturally the conversation continued to turn to the weather. As I always say to everyone the weather is almost irrelevant. A wedding is all about people and since people don’t melt int the rain, its all good.
The contrast between a set up shot of the church in glorious sunshine is a far cry from the same church that Sally found on her arrival. The ‘love ice cream’ umbrella made it for me though. I loved the irony. The weather improved little on Sally and Anthony’s exit, so once at the RAC Club the decision was made to hold the drinks reception inside.
The rest of the afternoon and evening was a mixture of fun, laughter and tender moments followed by an awesome band and great dancing!
At this point even the dress was wondering what the weather was going to be like
Everyone wanted a look
Look up and smile for a satellite picture
As I would discover (before the wedding thankfully) that Walton on the Hill is actually no where near Walton on Thames
“And the heavens opened’
Don’t we all!
Amazing Grace. My mom’s favourite hymn
The ladies seem to approve
