I first recognised Natalie as she met me at the door of the barn. I had, only a few nights before, seen her decked out in a sombrero in her Facebook gallery on her hen night. I was disappointed she no longer had this fashionable hat. I quickly got over it as a most tremendous day began the second I walked through the door. The barn was decked out in bunting…a perfect combination of rustic charm and vintage styling. I made my way upstairs to find Natalie and the Bridesmaids as well as Nat's parents and Aussie family. Meanwhile, downstairs the last minute touches were going on just before Alex, his brother and the rest of the chaps arrived in earnest. An emotional ceremony was briefly turned comical when a cat, who entered through an open door, suddenly walked behind Nat and Alex…much to the bemusement of the guest who had knew what was going on whilst the Bride and Groom were oblivious. Nat and Alex's attention to detail was amazing. The table names, the buttons, typewriter, bunting, cd box…everything…was picture postcard perfect and unique to them. A real reflection of their personalities. With speeches outside (wonderful by the way) and perfectly timed dance routine it made for a day with almost too many moments to photograph. Its a day I won't forget soon. Thanks for letting me be your Bury Court Barn wedding photoprapher.
